Dear Maz,

Camped just outside Newquay at a place called Mawgan Porth. Trouble is that there’s no place on site to wash, so we have to walk about half a mile to a mountain stream and even then it’s cold water. Went to St Ives a few days ago and it’s packed out with hippies. Funny.

Dear All,

Having ‘taken in’ America for a month. Expo 67, Niagara, N. York, Chicago, Oklahoma, Grand Canyon, El Paso, New Orleans and Daytona beach, came finally to rest here at S. Carolina 6,000 miles (later?) am now well and truly embroiled in the American educational system. Can’t wait to get back to England at (?).
